PSNK Faculty/Staff Campaign Hits 100 Percent

Perfection isn't easy. But Penn State New Kensington is getting 100 percent from its faculty and staff. For the first time in its 44-year history, PSNK has documented one hundred percent participation in its faculty/staff fundraising campaign. The percentage is based on contributions by employees since The Grand Destiny: The Penn State Campaign kicked-off in 1998. Through the diligent work of 2002 co-chairs, Doc Mueller, assistant professor of engineering, and Nancy Burns, staff assistant for admissions, and 2001 co-chairs, Tracie Brockhoff, biology lab technician, and Joan Begolly, instructor in engineering, New Kensington is now only one of two Commonwealth College campuses to ever achieve this lofty goal. The PSNK faculty/staff campaign is part of a University-wide campaign that seeks to raise $1.3 billion by June 30, 2003 for scholarships, faculty development, new technology, and campus initiatives.
