Commonwealth College Fosters New Programs

August 22, 2002

Penn State's Commonwealth College has launched the Faculty Opportunity for Rewards in Continuing Education (FORCE) initiative to develop new continuing education and training programs. The key goal of FORCE is to engage the academic expertise of Penn State faculty members in addressing the needs of undergraduates at the 12 Commonwealth College campuses, as well as adult learners, working professionals and youth throughout Pennsylvania. Another goal is to offer programs at multiple Commonwealth College campuses. The college includes the Penn State campuses at Beaver (Monaca), Delaware County (Media), DuBois, Fayette (Uniontown), Hazleton, McKeesport, Mont Alto, New Kensington, Shenango (Sharon), Wilkes-Barre (Lehman), Worthington Scranton (Dunmore) and York.
