Future M.D.s Get an Early Start at Penn State Erie

Students at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, who plan to become physicians now have an opportunity to apply for early acceptance to medical school as a result of an agreement signed by Behrend officials and the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Roger Knacke, director of the School of Science at Penn State Behrend, said the college has completed an "early assurance" agreement with the College of Medicine that will permit students who meet grade-point average and testing requirements to be admitted to the College of Medicine in their junior year.
