Enroll in a Sign Language Class at PSNK

Penn State New Kensington will offer a six-week course, Introduction to American Sign Language, Sept. 12, 19, 26 and Oct. 3, 10, 17 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Students will develop basic vocabulary, grammar, and signs necessary for communicating with a person who is deaf or hard of hearing. Offered through the Office of Continuing Education, the course will be taught by Mary Ann Stefko, a communications specialist for the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf.
