Tech Prep Among Programs Moving to New Center

Exciting workforce development news greeted local educators and industry leaders gathered at the fall kickoff meeting of the Penn State DuBois Tech Prep/Perkins Advisory Board held recently at the campus. As school administrators, teachers and business representatives from across north-central Pennsylvania looked on, Penn State DuBois interim campus executive officer William Curley outlined the plans currently under way for a new $8 million workforce development building at the campus. "The new DuBois Educational Foundation Workforce Development and Technology Center will offer a state-of-the-art training facility that will benefit the entire northcentral region," explained Curley.
