Rookey Appointed as Campus Executive Officer at Penn State Shenango

Thomas Rookey has been named the campus executive officer for Penn State Shenango effective Jan. 13, 2003. He currently serves as the director of the Dublin Campus of Middle Georgia College. Rookey earned his baccalaureate degree in sociology from the State University College at Buffalo, his master of science in educational research from Bucknell University, and his doctorate in educational research and measurement from Lehigh University. His background includes extensive experience in stimulating campus growth, securing funds, increasing enrollment, and expanding programs. He has been an active member in organizations in his community including the United Way, Chamber of Commerce, and Salvation Army. In accepting the position, Rookey said he was "extremely pleased to join the Penn State Shenango team.
