February 21, 2003

Penn State Altoona students Christina Milazzo and Adam Ravenzahn will join more than 700 dancers for the 31st annual Penn State Dance Marathon (THON) scheduled for Friday-Sunday, Feb. 21-23 at Rec Hall on the University Park campus. The Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon is a 48-hour no sitting, no sleeping fundraising event that benefits the Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State's Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. To date, THON has raised more than $25 million for pediatric cancer research programs sponsored by the Four Diamonds Fund. Last year, more than $3.6 million was raised in what has become the largest student-run philanthropy in the nation. For more information, visit
