Center for the Performing Arts brings quintet, orchestra to campus

Upcoming entertainment for March hosted by Penn State's Center for the Performing Arts will range from a cappella harmonizing to a full-blown orchestral spectacle. First up is Rockapella, a male quintet that is perhaps best known for appearances on "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?", unleashing its collective voice at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, in Eisenhower Auditorium. A few days later, Russia's Kirov Orchestra, led by Valery Gergiev and featuring 16-year-old violin soloist Sandra Wolf-Meei Cameron, performs at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 20, also in Eisenhower Auditorium.
