Penn State Altoona features spring production of 'The Laramie Project'

Penn State Altoona's spring theater production season will feature "The Laramie Project," by Moisés Kaufman and the members of Tectonic Theater Project. Directed by guest Pittsburgh director Ted Hoover, "The Laramie Project" will open Thursday, April 3 and run through Saturday, April 12 in the Paul R. and Margery Wolf Kuhn Theatre. The Laramie Project is a documentary style drama exploring the violent 1998 death of Matthew Shepard in Laramie, WY. Hoover, a playwright, critic, theatre director and performer from the Pittsburgh area, has received numerous awards for outstanding directing and was named one of "Forty Leaders under 40" by Pittsburgh Magazine.
