Heard on Campus: Melody Miller at the Penn State Forum

"I was a senior in high school when I first met President Kennedy. I was a freshman in East Halls when I lost him. To this day, I still have a photograph of the Old Main flag at half mast. (But) the very first thing I learned when I started working for the Kennedy family is that one cannot dwell in the past or wallow in grief. There is work to be done."
-- Melody Miller, Penn State alumna and senior aide to Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, from her talk on "Off the Record: Three Decades of People, Press, and Politics on Capitol Hill," given today (April 25) as part of the Penn State Forum series.
