New health resource for international students

International students and their families can now access health information in seven languages at Penn State's University Park campus. "Promoting Better Health for International Students and Their Families" is a collection of helpful information about a wide variety of health issues, including pre-natal care, immunizations, children's diseases, nutrition, exercise, dental care, and women's and men's health. In addition to English, the materials are available in Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Turkish, Russian and Spanish. It was based on needs identified by international students and staff who work with them. Copies of the information are available at the Office for International Students, White Course Apartments, Graduate Circle, Bennett Family Center, Child Development Laboratory and University Health Services. The project was developed by Anne Ray, undergraduate student in the Smeal College of Business, and Susan Kennedy, associate director of University Health Services.
