Bonk named acting director of student affairs

Theresa Bonk, assistant to the director of student affairs, has been named acting director of student affairs at Penn State New Kensington, according to Larry Pollock, campus executive officer. Bonk, who joined the PSNK staff in 1995, earned a bachelor's degree in communications from Clarion University and a master's degree in student affairs in higher education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. As acting head of student affairs, Bonk will be responsible for career services, campus life, new student orientation, minority services, health services, athletics, intramurals and recreational sports, off-campus housing, judicial affairs, child care assistance, veterans services, and student leadership development.
