Kids on tour view mascots to minerals and insects to fine arts

Each year, elementary students from neighboring school districts board buses bound for Penn State's University Park campus. These students are able to tour the University's museums and other attractions free of charge.

Recently, two second-grade classes from Centre Hall Elementary School spent the day on campus seeing the Nittany Lion Shrine, the Earth and Mineral Sciences Museum, the Frost Entomological Museum, the Palmer Museum of Art, the Bryce Jordan Center and the Creamery.
