AWARDS
Walter A. Arnold, part-time instructor in geosciences at Penn State York, has been named a 2003 recipient of the James H. Burness Awards for Excellence in Teaching.

Harriet E. Darling, instructor in human development and family studies at Penn State York, received the Penn State York Advising Award.

Frederick "Fred" C. Haag, associate professor of visual arts at Penn State York, has been named a 2003 recipient of the James H. Burness Awards for Excellence in Teaching.

Denise T. Ogden, assistant professor of marketing/business administration at Penn State Lehigh Valley, was awarded the 2003 Teaching Excellence Award.

Robert E. Sentz, associate professor of engineering at Penn State Lehigh Valley, received the Lehigh Valley Campus Advising Excellence Award.

PARTING
Bruce M. Broadbent, assistant professor of kinesiology at Penn State York and division head of Health and Human Development of the Commonwealth College, is retiring from the University after 36 years of service, effective June 30.
