Penn State Beaver alumna directs

June 18, 2003

Sandy Reigel, a Penn State Beaver alumna and music teacher at Center High School, will direct the Center Theatre Players in this summer's production of the hit musical "Children of Eden." Loosely based on the Book of Genesis, the play takes a funny, heartfelt look at the ups and downs of the relationships between parents and children. "It's a great play for the entire family," Reigel said. "It provides a wonderful opportunity for children and their parents to attend something together." The show, written by Stephen Schwartz (Godspell) and John Caird (Les Miserables) will be presented on July 17, 18, and 19 as part of the Brodhead Cultural Center's 27th programming season. It will be held in the Penn State Beaver Study Learning Center auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for all ages and are now available by contacting the Office of University Relations at mks6@psu.edu or (724) 773-3817.
