Alumni volunteers assist with 2003 orientation

Welcoming incoming freshman to Penn State McKeesport has been a long-standing tradition of campus alumni. This year, the Penn State McKeesport Alumni Society once again played an important role in making the newest Penn Staters feel right at home. This fall, new students arrived on campus and were greeted by members of the society. Members assisted with check-in, answering questions, participating in group activities, and holding discussions with the incoming students and their families. In addition to these activities, a special "Dinner and a Movie with the Alumni" allowed new students to ask questions about Penn State and college-life in general.
