Celebrate National Chemistry Week at Penn State Erie

Children and adults in the Erie area are invited to take part in National Chemistry Week activities scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Millcreek Mall, and Saturday, Nov. 8, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at expERIEnce Children's Museum, located at 420 French Street. National Chemistry Week is sponsored annually by the American Chemical Society, the world's largest scientific society. This year's theme, "Earth's Atmosphere and Beyond!" was sparked by the Earth's recent close encounter with Mars and the public's growing fascination with astronomy and our galaxy. All events are free and open
to the public.
