Plan for a hauntingly fun weekend at LateNight Penn State. Friday, Oct. 31 features the Seventh Annual Halloween Boonanza at the HUB-Robeson Center. This year's fright fest includes the Witches Ball where you can Monster Mash the night away, a carnival of mysteries with palm and tarot readers, and witches brew mocktails for bewitchingly wonderful refreshments. Join in the many ghoulish games like the pumpkin carving contest, haunted bingo, the pumpkin pie eating contest, and the costume contest. Saturday's events include a hopping swing dance with the 2 & 5 Quintet, and a spectacular show of close-up magic by the Penn State Performing Magicians.Â
The movie this weekend is Pirates of the Caribbean, a swashbuckling adventure starring Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom.
