GIS event to feature state geologist

University Libraries and the Penn State Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) Council will host a GIS users event on Nov. 12, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Mann Assembly Room of the Paterno Library. Stephen Matthews, co-chair of the Penn State GIS council and Jay Parrish, bureau director and state geologist for the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation & Natural Resources, Bureau of Topographic and Geologic Survey, will be the guest speakers.
