Beaver faculty member receives $50,000 grant

Rajen Mookerjee, associate professor of economics, is the recipient of a $50,000 grant from The Center for Rural Pennsylvania. The funds will be used to conduct a study entitled "Affordable Housing in Rural Pennsylvania." The Center is a bipartisan, bicameral legislative agency that serves as a resource for rural policy within the Pennsylvania General Assembly. It works with a variety of executive agencies and federal, regional, and community organizations to maximize resources and strategies that can better serve the needs of Pennsylvania's 2.8 million rural residents.
