Penn State Beaver exceeds United Way goal and continues projects

Thanks to the generosity of campus faculty, staff, and students, Penn State Beaver has exceeded its United Way goal of $4,000. To date, donations for this year's United Way campaign total more than $4,700, and several additional gifts are expected. Carol Pistachio, chair of the United Way campaign and staff assistant in the campus library, noted that the campus United Way committee is conducting a holiday poinsettia sale through Monday, Dec. 8 at 5 p.m. In addition, a $25 gift certificate from PetsMart, good at all store locations, is up for bid and all are welcome to place a bid. The highest bidder will receive the certificate by 5 p.m. on Dec. 8.
