Penn State Beaver theatre presents annual fall production

Penn State Beaver Theatre will present "It's a Terrible / Wonderful Life" on Thursday, Dec. 4 and Friday, Dec. 5 at 8 p.m. in the auditorium of the Beaver campus Study Learning Center. Admission is free with a Penn State I.D. The cost for the general public is only $5 per ticket. The play is comprised of a series of sketches developed by production seminar students under the direction of Carol Schafer, assistant professor of theatre, integrative arts, and women's studies. The sketches arose as a result of the answers given when students were asked the questions "What is a terrible / What is a wonderful day in the life of an average person?" The play's structure is derived from a previous project by the Actors Theatre of Louisville in which the group commissioned emerging playwrights to write scripts that became a production called "Heaven and Hell (On Earth)." The cast and crew are comprised of Beaver campus students in a variety of majors.
