Shenango students and Sharonsteel Foundation team up to support center

This holiday season, Penn State Shenango's Human Development and Family Studies Club collected new coats, mittens and socks to donate to the Prince of Peace Center in Farrell, Pennsylvania. In addition, through a financial contribution from the Sharonsteel Foundation, the campus' club was given the opportunity to purchase 26 additional coats for the Center. The student chair of the committee was Jeannette Rowan of Sharon. Claudia Brown, advisor and instructor in HDFS at Shenango, stated, "There are so many people in need, especially at this time of year. Our club was extremely happy that we could help, in some small way, make a difference in our community."
