Fall commencement ceremony to be held Dec. 20

Penn State Altoona will hold its fall commencement ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 20, beginning at 9 a.m. in the Adler Athletic Complex. The ceremony will include the conferring of 34 associate degrees and 79 baccalaureate degrees. Neil M. Port, retired chief executive officer Advisor of Siemens Health Services, Home Health Solutions, one of the world's largest home health information organizations, will deliver the commencement address. Eric Casanave, president of the Penn State Altoona Alumni Society, will welcome the graduates into the Penn State Alumni Association. William Steel, a member of the Penn State's Board of Trustees, will authorize conferring of degrees; William G. Cale Jr., CEO and dean, will preside over commencement and confer degrees; and Kjell Meling, associate dean and director of academic affairs, will present diplomas to the new graduates.
