University Park, Pa. -- Students looking for volunteer opportunities this semester to complete community service hours or just to make a difference in the community are invited to attend the Spring 2004 Volunteer Fair on Wednesday, Jan. 21, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the HUB-Robeson's Center's Alumni Hall.
More than 50 local, non-profit agencies will be available to discuss volunteer opportunities throughout the community. In the past, Penn State students have volunteered by visiting senior citizens, arranging food drives, cleaning classrooms, painting office spaces, building cages for animals, planting flowerbeds, and assisting with events for children.
