High school students can explore majors options at Altoona

January 30, 2004

Many high school juniors and seniors are now in the process of making one of the most important decisions of their young lives -- what college or university to attend. Penn State Altoona is helping to make this decision easier for prospective college students by hosting its annual Altoona College Majors Expo (ACME) on Wednesday, Feb. 4, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Slep Student Center on campus. The ACME will showcase Penn State Altoona's associate and baccalaureate degree programs. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with faculty who coordinate these programs, and Career Services and Admissions staff members will also be on hand to provide information. The event is sponsored by the college's Division of Undergraduate Studies.
