Alumnus named winning Artist in Action

Last semester, local artists spent a few days at Penn State Lehigh Valley demonstrating their artistic talents and answering questions from students, faculty, and staff. Their presence was part of the "Artists-In-Action" program—one of several community outreach programs that bring an artistic venue to the campus. During the month of December, students, faculty, staff, and visitors voted on their favorite piece. The winning selection is "View from the Grove," a watercolor painted by Penn State alumnus Michael Fay. The painting will be purchased to become a permanent piece in the campus' art collection. Fay's work can be viewed at Penn State Lehigh Valley's Concourse Gallery now though Feb. 24.
