Santorum and Onorato visit Penn State McKeesport

Penn State McKeesport Advisory Board Member and U.S. Senator Rick Santorum, and newly elected Chief Executive of Allegheny County, Dan Onorato visited campus on different occasions in February. Santorum came to Penn State McKeesport on Feb. 16 during a tour of the Mon Valley region. He met with the Advisory Board and campus leadership, toured the new Student Community Center, and answered questions from students, faculty, staff and guests at an open forum in the Student Lounge. Onorato, a Penn State alumnus, was a campus guest on Feb. 13. Student Government Association President Matt Ross and SGA Programming Chair Kristin Hicks presented Onorato with Penn State McKeesport memorabilia. Afterwards, Onorato spoke about economic development in the Mon Valley at a luncheon for business and community members hosted by the Regional Business Alliance.
