The second speaker in the Teaching Haiti 2004 Series, Leon Pamphile, will speak at Penn State McKeesport on Tuesday, March 30, from 12:30 to 1:20 p.m. in the Robert and Elizabeth Ostermayer Room of the Student Community Center. The title of his presentation is "Haiti as an International Symbol of Self-Determination and Liberation." Pamphile was born and raised in Haiti and received law and education degrees form the University of Haiti in the 1960s.
