Teaching Haiti 2004 series continues at Penn State McKeesport

Richard A. Gosser, the third speaker in the Teaching Haiti 2004 series, will give the next presentation in the series in the Ostermayer Room of the Student Community Center Thursday, April 15, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. The title of his presentation is "Ansanm Nou Fo! ("Together we are strong!"): Sustainable Rural Development in HAITI. Gosser is an associate professor of mathematics at St. Vincent College in Latrobe. He studied mathematics and philosophy/theology at St. Vincent College and the University of Durham, England. He holds masters and doctoral degrees in mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University, and has studied Spanish in the Dominican Republic and Bolivia, as well as Haitian Kreyol at the Kreyol Institute at the University of Massachusetts in Boston.
