Additional student marshals announced for this weekend's commencement

University Park, Pa. -- Student marshals representing the Department of Art History, the Department of Architecture, the School of Music and the College of Health and Human Development have been announced. The marshals will represent their respective areas during this weekend's (May 14-15) commencement ceremonies.

Larson named Department of Art History student marshal
Wendy Lynn Larson, daughter of Lawrence Larson of State College, Pa., and Susan Kubina of Orange, Calif., has been named the Department of Art History student marshal for Penn State's spring 2004 commencement ceremonies, to be held at noon on Saturday, May 15, at Eisenhower Auditorium on the University Park campus. The title of department marshal is awarded to the student who has earned the highest overall grade-point average in the department.

Llewellyn named Department of Architecture student marshal
Bethan Llewellyn, daughter of Deborah and Gareth Llewellyn of Salisbury, Md., has been named the Department of Architecture student marshal for Penn State's spring 2004 commencement ceremonies, to be held at noon on Saturday, May 15, at Eisenhower Auditorium on the University Park campus. Golden named School of Music student co-marshal
Elizabeth Golden, daughter of Vincent and Loretta Golden of Portage, Pa., has been named one of two School of Music student marshals for Penn State's spring 2004 commencement ceremonies, to be held at noon on Saturday, May 15, at Eisenhower Auditorium on the University Park campus. The title of department marshal is awarded to the student or students who have earned the highest overall grade-point average in the department.

Melzer named student marshal for College of Health and Human Development
New York City native Jared S. Melzer has been chosen to represent his classmates in the Penn State College of Health and Human Development as the student marshal for the college's upcoming spring commencement ceremony. The ceremony will take place at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 15, in the Bryce Jordan Center on Penn State's University Park campus.
