2004 emerging leaders program graduates announced

This year, thirteen high school juniors from local high schools met monthly, from January through May, at the Lehigh Valley campus to participate in three-hour sessions led by business and community leaders, professional trainers, and Penn State faculty and staff. Sessions focused on social issues such as diversity, environmental protection, community commitment, career development, and mentorship. As part of the program, the students participated in a community service project and spent a day at the Northampton County SPCA painting, cleaning, and caring for some of the animals.
