The DuBois Educational Foundation's efforts to raise $2.5 million in private support for the construction of a new Workforce Development and Technology Center adjacent to the campus of Penn State DuBois has exceeded a major goal. The building, a 46,000 square-foot and $6.9 million facility, is dedicated to four associate degree technology programs and the campus continuing education department, and also will provide facilities for the DuBois Area CareerLink Center. More than 60 people attending a Greater DuBois Chamber of Commerce breakfast meeting held on the campus last week learned that the campaign has raised in excess of $2 million. That number represents dozen of gifts that have been received from business and industry, foundations, alumni, faculty and staff and friends of the campus.
