Faculty member receives 'best paper' award

Michelle Hough, Penn State McKeesport assistant professor of business administration, received a Best Paper Award from the International Applied Business Research Conference in Puerto Rico for her work, "Exploring Elder Consumers' Attitudes toward Information Technology." Hough earned a doctor of science degree in information systems and communications from Robert Morris University. Her paper expands on research that she completed for her dissertation, for which she spent months visiting senior centers to conduct surveys and training related to computer use. In addition to her own data collection, her research encompassed a review of other studies on this population.
