Senay selected as Penn Stater of the Quarter

Patty Senay, staff assistant in the business office at Penn State McKeesport, has been chosen as Penn Stater of the Quarter for the first quarter of 2004. This recognition program was developed by the Commonwealth College as an opportunity to thank those faculty, staff and students who serve the University above and beyond their normal duties.
Senay was nominated and received the Penn Stater of the Quarter Award for being an efficient, dedicated and hardworking employee and an important member of the business and finance department for more than 12 years. She volunteers to help at events at the campus and is often seen attending and supporting weekend activities. She "adopted" a student from Bulgaria, whose family still lives there, and spent many hours making him and his family feel comfortable and welcome at Penn State McKeesport. Senay is a lifelong resident of McKeesport. She and her husband, Duane, have one son, Scott, who attended Penn State McKeesport. The awardee was invited to a formal luncheon at University Park where she was honored for her accomplishments.
