David Hefner, executive director and chief operating officer, will be on the rooftop of the parking garage at Penn State Hershey Medical Center from Sept. 2 to 4 in an effort to raise $48,000 for Children's Miracle Network(CMN).
Employees are asked to come out and enjoy the activities and consider making a donation to CMN. Employees will be able to sign up to make ongoing payroll deductions and may be entered to win tickets for a Penn State football game. Tables are set up in the cafeteria with more information.
Activities include:
Thursday, Sept. 2
-- Noon: Hefner will head to the roof of the parking garage for a two-day stint.
-- 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.: "Tailgate Party" with hot dogs, chips and drinks.
Friday, Sept. 3
-- 1 to 3 p.m.: Ice cream novelties
Saturday, Sept. 4
-- Noon: Hefner will be coming down off the roof.
Food will be served by the senior management team and available for a donation to CMN. All activities will be held between the south lobby entrance to the parking garage and Jamie's Place playground.
