Recital features 17th-century Italian keyboard music

The Institute for the Arts and Humanities, the School of Music and the University Libraries will present "An Afternoon of 17th-Century Italian Keyboard Music," a lecture-recital by Christopher Stembridge, harpsichordist and musicologist, with Willard Martin, harpsichord builder. The event, scheduled for 5 to 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 27, in Foster Auditorium, Pattee Library, University Park, will feature works by Frescobaldi, Gesualdo, Luzzaschi, Merulo and others played on chromatic harpsichord and lute harpsichord.
