Readership Program provides free newspapers to students

Students at Penn State McKeesport have access to The New York Times, USA Today and The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, as part of the University's Newspaper Readership program. The newspapers are available free of charge Monday through Friday via the newspaper dispensing machines on campus. Students can access the papers using their student ID cards. The Newspaper Readership Program is offered at 20 Penn State campuses offering undergraduate programs as well as Penn State's Dickinson School of Law. Last year, Penn State students read more than 1.8 million local, regional and national newspapers, securing the University's position as having the largest newspaper readership program at any university in the nation.
