Computer science series addresses Internet security

Albert Whale, certified information systems auditor and certified information systems security professional, will give a lecture on "Internet Security and the Butterfly Effect," to be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, in the Otto Behrend Science Building, room 101 on the Penn State Erie campus. "The Internet has drawn our world into a smaller global community," said Whale. "My talk will examine the effects of vulnerabilities and security on the global community. We will also explore the exploits that permeate the Internet, our security and the potential for convenience and disaster."
