Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center will fund the nurses-aide training and the certified nurses-aide (CNA) test for current employees who wish to become patient-care assistants, as part of the commitment to further develop Penn State Hershey's work force.
To learn more about how to take advantage of this opportunity, information sessions on becoming a patient-care assistant are scheduled for the following times and dates:
-- 7 to 8 a.m., Monday, Jan. 10,
-- 7 to 8 a.m., Monday, Jan. 17,
-- 3 to 4 p.m., Monday, Jan. 17,
-- 3 to 4 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 18.
All sessions will be held in dining room D in the Medical Center cafeteria.
Each session will provide employees with the required prerequisites, description of the nurses-aide training, a sample of a CNA test and an opportunity to learn about possible career paths. For information, call Lynn Berkowsky at (717) 531- 3904.
