French film series set at University Park

"Recent Films from France and the Francophone World," offered by Penn State's Department of French, will be shown at 6:30 and 9 p.m. Thursdays in 113 Carnegie Building, University Park.

All are screened in 35-mm format with English subtitles. The showings are free to the public. They include:

--Jan. 20: "La Fleur du mal (The Flower of Evil)" by Claude Chabrol.
--Feb. 17: "Les Invasions barbares (The Barbarian Invasions)" by Denys Arcand.
-- March 17: "Je Chanterai pour toi (I'll Sing for You)" by Jacques Sarasin.
