'The Full Monty' to make Eisenhower debut

"The Full Monty," a musical featuring a pop-rock score, will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, April 12 and 13, at Eisenhower Auditorium, University Park. Section one and two tickets for the Center for the Performing Arts presentation are $44 and $38 for adults; $32 and $26 for University Park students; and $39 and $33 for people 18 years and younger. For tickets and information, log on to http://www.cpa.psu.edu or call (814) 863-0255 or (800) ARTS-TIX. Tickets also are available at Eisenhower Auditorium, Penn State Tickets Downtown, HUB-Robeson Center Information Desk and The Bryce Jordan Center. "The Full Monty" is based on a 1997 Oscar-nominated British film. In order to raise cash for a friend in need, unemployed steelworkers plan a strip show. The musical transplants the story from the north of England to Buffalo. Artistic Viewpoints provides insight from an artist or expert perspective and is offered free to interested ticket holders in the Eisenhower Auditorium Conference Room one hour before each performance. Free audio description, which is especially helpful to patrons with sight-loss, is available at no charge to ticket-holders at the April 13 performance.
