Woskob Family Gallery to hold study abroad exhibition

April 13, 2005

Works by students who studied abroad last summer through programs sponsored by the Penn State School of Visual Arts are on display through Saturday, April 23, in the Woskob Family Gallery in Penn State's Downtown Theatre Centre. The School of Visual Arts' three faculty-led programs take students to Ireland, Mexico and Italy. All of the paintings, drawings, prints, photographs and sculpture in the exhibition reflect the students' experiences abroad. Some were executed on-site during the program, while others are the result of greater reflection upon the international experience. A reception for the student artists will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 14, in the gallery. The exhibit is free to the public.
