Bells will ring on Thursdays in July this year as Penn State Erie presents a second summer of carillon concerts. Four world-class performers will play the college's 48-bell Floyd and Juanita Smith Carillon for guests seated on the grounds of the campus.
All concerts begin at 7 p.m. The performers for this season are:
-- July 7: Anne Kroeze, carillonneur in the Netherlands cities of Emmeloord, Leeuwarden and Epe;
-- July14: George Matthew, carillonneur at Middlebury College and Norwich University, Vt.;
-- July 21: Jeremy Chessman, carilloneur at Southwest Missouri State University; and
-- July 28: The Groningen Duo, Auke de Boer and Adolph Rots, from the Netherlands.
