New pediatric ambulance visits Pennsylvania hospitals

The new pediatric mobile intensive care unit has begun touring hospitals throughout Pennsylvania. Life Lion, Penn State Children's Hospital and the Department of Emergency Medicine will participate. Teams of various Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center providers and nurses will visit emergency departments and provide information and materials on the services of the new ambulance and the medical center. Throughout the months of August and September, the pediatric ambulance will tour throughout the state of Pennsylvania each Wednesday. Other stops along the tour include Holy Spirit Hospital, Lewistown Hospital, York Hospital and Reading Hospital, to name a few.
