3 Doors Down to rock the Jordan Center

The band 3 Doors Down will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, at the Bryce Jordan Center, University Park. Opening for the band will be Shinedown and Alter Bridge, formerly known as Creed.

3 Doors Down has sold more than 12 million albums since the band's debut in 2000. The band has had six no.1 singles -- "Kryptonite," "Duck and Run," "Loser," "Be Like That," "When I'm Gone" and "Here Without You." Band members were born and raised in Southern Mississippi and have personally lost, as have many families, homes and belongings in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The band will donate $1 from each ticket sale for hurricane relief efforts.

Reserved tickets are $35 for the public and $27.50 for University Park students. Tickets go on sale at noon Friday, Sept. 30, at the Bryce Jordan Ticket Center, Eisenhower Auditorium, HUB-Robeson Center, Penn State Tickets Downtown, the Altoona campus ticket outlet, all Ticketmaster locations, by calling (814) 865-5555 or (800) 863-3336 and at http://www.bjc.psu.edu online.
