Annual breakfast with Santa slated

November 18, 2005

DuBois, Pa. -- Reservations are being taken now for the annual Breakfast with Santa program at Penn State DuBois, offered Saturday, Dec. 3, in the Hiller Building Student Union. The breakfast is sponsored by the campus Student Government Association (SGA) as its holiday gift to the community. Campus students and volunteers prepare and serve the meal, allowing parents the opportunity to sit back and enjoy a leisurely morning with their families. The cost is $3.50 per person, with all proceeds from the breakfast donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which grants wishes to seriously ill children.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit with children during four different breakfast seating times: 8, 8:45, 9:30 and 10:15 a.m. The SGA will take 75 people at each seating. Photography is permitted, but families also can purchase a Polaroid photo of children taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Games will be available, and each child attending will receive a free gift.

Advance reservations are required and can be made through Wednesday, Nov. 30. For more information or to make a reservation, e-mail rxs163@psu.edu or call Rebecca Pennington at (814) 375-4766.
