Delta Mu Sigma inducts new members

DuBois -- Delta Mu Sigma, the scholastic honors society of Penn State DuBois, honored new members with a spring induction ceremony. Presiding over ceremonies were Delta Mu Sigma executive board members: Brian Dicks and Michael Girty, co-chairs; Shawnda Hau, scribe; Barb Hoffer, finance; Jody Kulakowski, historian; Jenna Lamb, public relations; and Susanne Waitkus, Delta Mu Sigma adviser.

New inductees are considered for membership based upon the total number of credits completed, a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and their involvement in service activities both on campus and in the community. The guest speakers included Penn State DuBois Chancellor Anita McDonald; Rebecca Pennington, associate director of Student Life; and Margaret Bowman, advising program coordinator.

The inductees for spring 2006 included: Jake Altemus, Lindsey Aughenbaugh, Terri Barrett, Christy Borger, Kristen Campbell, Jessica Capistrant, Sean Christopher, Mindi Condon, Brenton Decker, Maggie Dicks, Amanda Dixon, Lindsay Graffius, Gina Grolemund, Brandi Guiher, Kristina Hanslovan, Lacy Hoffman, Shannon Kassab, Joseph Kelly Jr., Shauna Knarr, Carrie Laird, Kristen Lloyd, John Luisi, Elysha Lyle, Brad Luzier Jr., Susan Mahoney, Janessa Michaels, Jessica Myhra, Jared Neeper, Daniel Nichol, Cara O'Bryon, Amy Panighetti, Dorothy Ringer, Gabriel Rosenberg, Amanda Santaniello, Mary Ann Stahli, Brittany Stanford, Jennifer Stebick, Emily Sue Stephens, Erin Leann Stewart, Tim Sudik, Emily Thomas, Patricia Toney and Nathaniel Troupe.
