Penn Stater magazine seeks memories

University Park, Pa. -- From a favorite dorm food to a romance that blossomed over lunch, The Penn Stater magazine is looking for memorable dining hall stories.

The editors of The Penn Stater want to hear about foods Penn Staters still crave after all these years or about the meals former dining hall patrons hope to never see again, about friendships formed or about the time someone accidentally dumped a tray in the middle of a packed commons -- or any other memorable moment. Alumni should describe in detail their dining hall experience and what it meant to them. Editors will select the most interesting tales for publication in a future edition of The Penn Stater.

Letters should be a maximum of 300 words, may be edited for length and clarity and must include an address and a daytime phone number. Letters should be sent to The Penn Stater magazine, Letters, Hintz Family Alumni Center, University Park, PA 16802, e-mailed to pennstater@psu.edu or faxed to (814) 863-5690.

The Penn Stater magazine is a publication of the Penn State Alumni Association, the largest dues-paying alumni association in the world with more than 159,000 members. Established in 1870, the Alumni Association connects alumni to the University and to each other, provides valuable benefits to members and supports the University's mission of teaching, research and service.
