Information session planned for first-time Homecoming groups

University Park, Pa. -- Penn State's Homecoming 2007 is fast approaching, and organizations that have never before been involved with the annual celebration can learn more about how to get involved. A new organization information session will be held from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, in 104 Thomas building on the University Park campus. Groups will learn about ways to get involved and the benefits of participating in Homecoming, one of the largest celebrations of its kind in the country. Attending organizations are not obligated to commit to participating, and the session will explore options and financial obligations.

Additionally, students, faculty and staff are reminded that nominations for the Homecoming Court are being accepted through April 15. Any current junior may be nominated for student king or queen. For the first time ever, Homecoming will feature a faculty/staff court as well. Any student, faculty or staff member may nominate a faculty or staff member to serve on the court. Nomination forms are available at http://homecoming.psu.edu online.
